Our three key phases

Intake and Individual Reorientation

Together with a career coach, you regain control of your own career direction. This phase focuses on reflecting on your current situation and building clarity about what you want to pursue next.

Self Image and Professional Profile

In this phase you work with your coach to develop a clear personal and professional profile. You have access to various tools such as assessments and tests to support this process. PROFAS values individual initiative and exploration — for example, you may participate in ongoing research projects or engage with experts in your field.

Mediation to Suitable Work

The final phase focuses on creating connections with interesting organizations and helping you find work that fits you. Together with your job coach and/or advisor, you actively work toward securing a suitable position. This could also include working independently as a self employed professional. In fact, more than one third of candidates PROFAS guides from work to work choose entrepreneurship.

Workshops and Additional Support

Throughout the program, various workshops are organized as needed that may be relevant to you. These include:

  • Storytelling
  • Using new media
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Presenting yourself in the job market

For Employers

Mobility Employment Contract and Reintegration (Second Track). Information for You as an Employer

In consultation and agreement with your employee, you end the employment contract or appointment by means of a settlement agreement or amicable arrangement. The employee then immediately becomes employed by PROFAS under the same employment conditions. From this employment relationship with PROFAS, we guide your employee toward their next career step. This can be a new position with another employer, but it often also involves the employee starting as a selfemployed entrepreneur.

With a mobility employment contract, we take over the role of employer. You become employed by PROFAS under the same employment conditions as you had with your current employer.
